Background

This video provides a brief introduction to UCD work, which addresses the need for a dashboard that supports schools and teachers in accessing training and information for the early career framework (ECF).

The new design focuses on improving accessibility, usability, and communication, with key principles such as minimising complexity, displaying outstanding actions, and providing clear content.

Background

This video showcases the second iteration of the new DfE dashboard, with a focus on UI and content changes that were generated from recent user research. The dashboard was tested with School Induction tutors who were asked to complete various tasks using the review app, and we also observed how they responded to notifications regarding actions needed to assign mentors to ECTs (early career teachers).
